EFS106
High-Bay Sensor with AUX Interface (12 V DC)
Low-voltage high-bay sensor for LLLC/NLC5 – PIR + daylight, 6 to 12 m mounting height, plug-and-play.
DetailsRetrofit
You do not have to replace working LED luminaires to control them intelligently. If the driver has a 0-10 V or DALI interface, we retrofit sensors and lighting management directly to the existing luminaire – no new control wiring, during operation.

Requirement
What matters is the LED driver in the luminaire. You will find the details on the rating plate or in the driver datasheet – or send us a photo and we will check it.
| Your driver | How we retrofit |
|---|---|
| Dimmable 0-10 V, 12 V auxiliary output (AUX) and dim-to-off | Sensor directly on the luminaire: EFS106 in halls, IFS105SE in offices, or FA102 node with MWS105E sensor |
| Dimmable 0-10 V without 12 V output – hall, 6 to 15 m | EFS104 with its own power supply (230 V) and relay |
| Dimmable 0-10 V without 12 V output – office, corridor | We check the luminaire; a driver swap is often cheaper than a new luminaire |
| Dimmable DALI | Sensors with DALI connection on the existing luminaire – we match the components to your drivers |
| Not dimmable or still fluorescent | LED upgrade first, with sensors planned at the same time |
The interfaces are explained in Retrofitting lighting controls.
Process
We record luminaires, drivers, heights and use on site.

Result
Where luminaires are already LED, the biggest saving lies in the control: light only where someone is, and only as bright as daylight requires. As a guide from our projects, sensors alone save more than 60 % of lighting electricity.

FAQ
Yes, if the existing LED luminaires have a dimmable driver with a 0-10 V or DALI interface. The sensor is mounted on or in the luminaire and dims the driver directly; networking runs via Bluetooth Mesh.
From the rating plate or the driver datasheet: look for a 0-10 V or DALI dimming input; for 0-10 V ideally with a 12 V auxiliary output (AUX) and dim-to-off. Send us a photo of the rating plate – we check it free of charge.
In halls from 6 m we use the EFS104: it has its own power supply, switches via a relay and dims via 0-10 V. In offices and corridors we check the luminaire; a driver swap is often the cheapest solution.
Usually we do: Building Robotics Europe handles survey, planning, installation and commissioning from one source – during operation, area by area. If you prefer your own electrical contractor to install, that is fine too.
