Buildings that sense
when light is needed.

Presence, daylight and high-bay sensors with app-based lighting management – also retrofitted to your existing LED luminaires, no new control cabling. As a guide value from our projects, sensors alone save more than 60 % of lighting electricity, up to 75 % in rarely used areas.

Reality check

Are your lights on
where nobody is?

In halls, corridors and warehouses, LED luminaires often light empty areas for hours. That costs money every day – and above 70 kW, automatic lighting control is mandatory in Germany.

Sensor portfolio

Sensors for every ceiling height.

From battery-powered ceiling sensors to IP66 high-bay sensors – every product with technical data and datasheet.

Retrofit

Your luminaires stay.
The intelligence is added.

Working LED luminaires do not have to go to become smart. If the driver has a 0-10 V or DALI interface, we fit the sensor directly to the existing luminaire and network everything wirelessly. We usually handle survey, installation and commissioning ourselves – during operation; your own electrical contractor can install if you prefer.

  • Keep existing luminaires
  • No new control wiring
  • App-based lighting management, monitoring included

The difference

Why not just buy
cheap motion sensors?

A DIY-store detector switches lights on and off – nothing more. For modern building management it lacks almost everything that matters.

Cheap standalone sensor

It switches – that's it.

Low unit price, high follow-up costs

  • No energy monitoring – savings can neither be measured nor proven
  • No communication between sensors – every sensor is an island
  • On/off only: no dimming, no daylight harvesting, no task tuning
  • Every change to time delay or sensitivity means a ladder and a technician on site
  • No BMS integration, no occupancy data, no fault alerts

Networked sensors

Measure, communicate, optimise.

Bluetooth Mesh · energy monitoring · BACnet

  • Energy use per zone every 15 minutes – savings documented for reporting & audits
  • Sensors talk to each other via Bluetooth Mesh: groups, orientation light, scenes
  • Dimming, daylight harvesting, task tuning and schedules – the big savings levers
  • Configuration & firmware updates via app or platform – no ladder required
  • BMS integration via BACnet, Modbus or API, occupancy data & maintenance alerts

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to replace my luminaires to get lighting control?

No. If your LED luminaires have a dimmable 0-10 V or DALI driver, we retrofit sensors and lighting management directly to the existing luminaires – without new control cables. Details under Retrofit.

Am I affected by the § 56 GModG obligation?

Non-residential buildings in Germany with a heating, air-conditioning or combined ventilation system above 70 kW need automatic lighting control by 31 Dec 2029. General information, not legal advice.

How much does lighting control save?

As a guide value from our projects, sensors on existing LED luminaires save more than 60 % of lighting electricity, up to 75 % in rarely used areas. Estimate your figures in the savings calculator.

Who does the installation?

Usually we do: survey, planning, installation and commissioning from one source, during operation. If you prefer your own electrical contractor, that is possible too.

How long does implementation take?

It depends on the number of luminaires and access. As no cables are pulled, installation per luminaire is quick and operations continue. You receive a schedule with the proposal.
